Ultra-low thermal expansion transparent glass-ceramics

Ultra-low thermal expansion transparent glass-ceramics is a kind of composite material composed of β-quartz solid-solution nanocrystalline phase and glass phase by precisely controlling the microcrystallization of lithium-aluminum-silicon glass system. Its thermal expansion coefficient is near zero, which is only several thousandths of metal, several hundredths of glass or ceramic, is the material of best dimensional stability under temperature changing environment. Our company based on the 863 program independently developed the ultra-low thermal expansion transparent glass-ceramics, which performance index up to world advanced levels, fill the gap of domestic high quality ultra-low thermal expansion transparent glass-ceramics. The large-scale commercial production of near-zero defect near-zero expansion transparent glass-ceramics is realized.

Ultra-low thermal expansion transparent glass-ceramics are mainly used in the navigation system laser gyroscope skeleton and mirror blank, and mirror blanks for large astronomical telescopes. It can also be applied to optical grating ruler for high precision numerical control led machine, optical grating bracket for optical communication, radar radome, high temperature observation window, high temperature electro-optic glass, projector lampshade and so on.
